Skechers X Mohun Bagan Super Giant Celebrate Football Fandom With “Live Like a Mariner” Experience

The initiative celebrated football fandom while strengthening fan engagement and community culture

Kolkata, May 23, 2026– Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company™, in association with Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG), introduced a unique fan engagement initiative titled “Live Like a Mariner.” Celebrating India’s rich football legacy and the deep-rooted fan culture of West Bengal, the activation was designed to bring fans closer to the game through immersive, once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

As part of the initiative, Skechers hosted an on-ground fan activation at a prominent mall in Kolkata, drawing participation from football enthusiasts across different parts of the state. The engagement featured a series of interactive and skill-based activities designed to celebrate participants’ abilities, passion, and connection with the sport.

Through the activation, select fans were given the opportunity to be a “Mariner for a Day” – a first-of-its-kind initiative that offered an inside look into the world of professional football.
Selected fans spent an entire day with Mohun Bagan Super Giant players, witnessing behind-the-scenes moments with the team and experiencing the life of a professional footballer up close. The experience also enabled fans to engage directly with players, immerse themselves in the club’s culture, and participate in a special chat show where they shared their journeys as supporters. Winners also received official Mohun Bagan kits along with Skechers merchandise.
