Kolkata: Piaggio India, the two-wheeler business of the globally renowned Piaggio Group, strengthened its presence in West Bengal with the inauguration of a new Vespa and Aprilia touch point at Joys Bike Point in Howrah.
The facility marked another step in the company’s efforts to expand its retail footprint, enhance customer accessibility and bring its premium two-wheeler brands closer to consumers across key markets.

The new touch point was inaugurated by Mr. Gaetano Pignataro, Head of Sales Network Development and Trade Marketing – Piaggio Asia Pacific 2 Wheeler, Piaggio Group, and Mr. Ajay Raghuvanshi, Executive Vice President, 2 Wheeler Domestic Business.
Located in Howrah, the facility catered to customers across the city and surrounding areas, offering an integrated platform to explore, purchase and experience Vespa and Aprilia products. It also provided authorised sales and service support, enabling customers to access products and after-sales assistance under one roof.

Vespa brought its distinctive Italian heritage, design and premium appeal, while Aprilia represented performance, technology and sporty riding. The availability of both brands at the new touch point offered customers a wider choice within the premium two-wheeler segment.

The inauguration also highlighted West Bengal’s growing importance as a market for premium mobility. With evolving consumer preferences and rising interest in products combining design, technology and lifestyle appeal, Piaggio India continued to focus on strengthening its network and enhancing customer engagement across key markets.
